En el marco de la visita de directivos de VDM Publishing, la Editorial Universitaria Villa María (Eduvim) firmó el convenio para la creación de Publicaciones Universitarias Argentinas (PUA). Este sello surgió producto de un acuerdo de cooperación con SVH Verlag de Alemania con el objetivo de poner a disposición del público universitario, académico, científico y técnico de Europa, el Reino Unido y USA, un catálogo con los principales libros producidos por los profesores e investigadores de las universidades argentinas.

In the framework of the visit of leaders of VDM Publishing, EditorialUniversitaria Villa Maria (Eduvim) signed the agreement for the creation of Publicaciones Universitarias Argentinas (PUA). This product arose seal a cooperation agreement with SVH Verlag of Germany with the objective of making available to the university, academic, scientific and technical public in Europe, the UK and USA, a catalog of books produced byleading professors and Argentine universities researchers.

El Intendente Municipal Eduardo Accastello recibió este mediodía a integrantes del Grupo editorial alemán VDM Publishing, el cual abrió en nuestra ciudad la primera sede de toda Latinoamérica bajo el nombre de Editorial Académica Española (EAE) dedicada a la publicación de textos académicos y científicos en idiomas como el alemán, francés, inglés, ruso y español.

The Mayor Eduardo Accastello received this afternoon German members from the publishing group of VDM Publishing, which opened in our city the first headquarters of Latin America under the name of Editorial Académica Española (EAE), dedicated to publishing academic and scientific texts in languages as German, French, Russian and Spanish.

Después de participar de dos años consecutivos en la Feria del Libro de Frankfurt, Eduvim alcanzó en 2011 su meta al poner en circulación sus primeros 35 títulos a través del portal PUA (Publicaciones Universitarias Argentinas).
Este portal, una sociedad entre nuestro sello y SVH Verlag de Alemania, busca poner al alcance del público europeo, del Reino Unido y EE.UU. los títulos de Eduvim. Sin embargo, el Portal PUA no se agota en los títulos que Eduvim publique en Argentina. El mismo también publicará libros de otras Editoriales Universitarias Argentinas que se sumen a la iniciativa.

Cabe destacar que los editores a cargo de PUA son Katrin Martin de SVH Verlag y Carlos Gazzera de Eduvim. Los libros del portal podrán comprarse a partir del 02 de diciembre de 2012, cuando oficialmente quede inaugurado en Villa María a través de un lanzamiento oficial. En la foto, los integrantes de Eduvim junto a los responsables de SVH Verlag en la Feria del Libro de Frankfurt el pasado mes de octubre de 2011, después de que ambos equipos definieran los últimos aspectos del proyecto PUA.

After participating in two consecutive years in the Frankfurt Book Fair, in 2011 Eduvim reached his goal of putting into circulation the first 35 titles through the portal PUA (University Publications Argentinas).This website, a partnership between our label and SVH Verlag in Germany, seeks to reach the European public, the UK and the U.S. with the Eduvim titles. However, the PUA Portal is not confined to the titles published in Argentina Eduvim. The same also publish books from other publishers Argentine Universities to join the initiative.

In addition the editors who are responsible of PUA are Katrin Martin of Verlag SVH and Carlos Gazzera of
Eduvim. The books will be available for sell in December 2, 2012, when it officially open in Villa Maria through an official release.
